Paint is very sharp done in 1980 Mazda Miata Red with no rust or bubbles. Exceptional Rock Maple frame and panels timelessly hand finished with love and affection. Complete 40 Ford Woodie Maple body kit with hardware was ordered from a company in Wisconsin.
Very straight body lines all around.
Bumper Chrome front and rear are clean with no dings or damage. Exterior Emblems, Trim and Moldings are re-chromed or high quality reproduction with no visible defects. Hood pops up straight and holds up as designed.
Paint has scratches, imperfections and paint chips and touch ups.
American Racing wheels 14” front and 15” rear on radial tires with very good tread. Rides nice with no tire rubbing or noise, goes over dips and speed bumps with no issues.
Overall this is very nice cruiser wagon to take the kids or grandkids for a ride in. Very well maintained, dependable, reliable and safe for a road trip with family or friends.
Seat belts front and back. Unlike a lot of Woodie wagons this 1940 Ford has no rattling or clanking sounds associated with the Wood body, very tight.
Very solid feel to the ride with nice perfect hot rod purrrrr exhaust sound. Drives and steers very easily. Stops very sharply with the four wheel disc brakes.
This 1940 Ford Woodie Wagon was built from the ground up starting in 1999, Finished in 2010 and driven approx 3K miles since so it’s just broke in.
Clear California Title and current California DMV registration with show plates included as well as street legal license plates.
