Sierra Classics Imports is proud to present this professionally
built 1955 Chevrolet Pickup for sale. The truck was completely
disassembled and all new parts were installed from the bottom up
nuts, bolts, rubber grommets, etc. The only original components are
body panels and the frame (upgraded). This three year build
included sand blasted and black powder-coated c-notched frame. The
rear suspension is Heidts 4 link with a 9' Ford rear end with
Auburn posi track and 350 gears. The font suspension is Heidts
mustang 2 rack and pinion with adjustable aluminum coil over shocks
front and back. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood power disk
brakes front and back tucked behind US Mags with a gunmetal finish
and machined lip. The fronts are 18' with 20' in the rear. Power
comes from a Chevrolet performance TK 350 HO (385hp) with aluminum
heads. Valve covers and air cleaner cover is paint matched. For air
and fuel flow, an Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor and Billet Specialties
air cleaner is installed. Power is delivered through a 350
automatic transmission with a shift kit. Fuel lines are stainless
steel. Aluminum radiator and electric fan keep this power plant
cool. The master cylinder was relocated under the cab with all
stainless steel brake lines. The incredible sounding 2.5' exhaust
is provided by Magna Flow. The 20 gallon fuel tank is from Classic
Performance fitted under the Oak wood bed. The bed was stained with
orange pearl and kept in place with stainless steel strips.
American Auto wiring, Flaming River tilt steering column,
Auto-Meter gauges and an aftermarket 1955 Bel-Air steering wheel is
what the driver is greeted with upon entry. To keep you cool is a
Vintage A/C installed with a custom under dash wrapped console. The
cab is completely Dynamatted. The interior is a 1959 Chevrolet
Impala copper colored with custom stitching. The bench was
shortened and added were 1957 Bel Air armrests. Music is sent
through an Alpine headunit to a set of Type S 6.5' components in
the front and Alpine Type S 6x9s in the rear. To add some extra
thump is a shallow mount Kenwood 10' subwoofer behind the seat. All
glass was replaced, and door vent windows were removed and have one
piece powered window. All new weather stripping, window
channelling, and felts were installed. The paint is PPG 2 stage
two-tone pearl. The body is Sierra Gold and the cab roof and
striping is tan pearl with orange pearl. The firewall and dashboard
have been shaved and the interior colors are two-tone.
