Vehicle Description
This one-owner, low actual miles 1968 Chevrolet C10 Custom Pickup
is indeed something special, and it's available now from the
Maxmotive Pittsburgh Showroom. All sheet metal and paint is
original, and rust is absent even in the vulnerable areas around
the windshield. The drivetrain is all fresh, with a .020 over 327
delivering the power. A hydraulic performance cam adds some extra
horsepower, and a new dual exhaust system lets you hear it. (Check
out the video at www.maxmotive.com to enjoy the sweet sounds this
327 produces.) A 700R4 transmission, with its overdrive range,
makes the truck nicer to drive on the highway while helping with
fuel efficiency. Another nice upgrade is four-wheel power disc
brakes, which along with power steering, add to driving fun as well
as safety. White stripe radial tires, of course, help all the above
components do their job while preserving the irreplaceable vintage
look. The philosophy "They're only original once" has been lovingly
followed in this build. The patina is natural, and has been wisely
preserved, while the running gear has been freshened and updated to
create a fun, driveable, and enjoyable ride. See detailed photos of
