This is a 48 year-owned Porsche 912 is one of, if not the oldest unrestored Porsche 912s in the country. The 344th 912 built, is believed to be ~1/9 U.S. imported 1965 912s, and ~1/4 with a factory sunroof. The three-gauge, painted dash 912 was delivered to Porsche Cars Northwest in July of 1965 and subsequently delivered to Max Turner of Bellevue, Washington. Ron purchased this car in January of 1973 and drove it until, for unknown reasons, it was parked in his garage in Seattle, WA. The car was once again uncovered in January of 2021, and is now for sale for the first time in nearly 50 years.
The car is for sale with a binder of documentation, including the factory manual, warranty book, service technician guide, vehicle service receipts, factory tool kit, continental chains, and more. Also included in the sale is a box of NOS parts: pistons, Solex carburetors, 1967 stamped 5.5 inch wheels with chrome hub caps, original Mann air cleaners, and more.
This car has had some paintwork - a repaint was believed to have taken place prior to 1972. There is a small bondo patch on the drivers side fender. A period Panasonic radio is currently installed but the original Blaupunkt radio is included in a box with other parts. Additionally, non-factory fog lights are installed and wired to panel under the dashboard.
