This '76 Ventura would make a great project! It has it's original 260 v8 Oldsmobile engine. We took it in and replaced the cap and rotor, all the plugs (#4 was stuck), plug wires, air filter, oil filter, fixed some wiring (from mice), vacuum lines. We added fuel filter and replaced fuel line. Fixed leak in radiator. After this tinkering, we got it to drive it around the yard. The engine sounds good. No knocks or anything. Brakes work. Has some rust damage. The frame looks to be in good shape.
I have applied for the title through the state. It will take several months to get back from the state. It will be mailed to the buyer as soon as I get it back from the state.
The Ventura is okay to be stored here for up to 6 months while buyer finds transport. We own 40 acres, so it's not really in the way. Any longer than that and we need to have a discussion. I have a skidsteer to help load.
