Vehicle Description
STK 2971 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Sedan
The heart of this '48 Chevy Fleetmaster Street Rod can be summed up
with one adjective - unique. The builder began with a solid
foundation by using an '87 Monte Carlo chassis and suspension. The
sedan body was carefully refinished in Brown and Tan - colors that
are very similar to the original tones. Chrome is abundant and in
good condition and Starfire Solarus radials are mounted on 15" US
Mags 'Rambler' chrome spoke wheels. The smart tan cloth interior is
subtle and classy. The beautiful dash incorporates a full
compliment of factory gauges and comfortable bench seats, classic
door cards, nice headliner, AM/FM stereo and tilt wheel complete
the interior design. To stay cool, the Chevy is equipped with air
conditioning. A nicely detailed engine compartment houses a rebuilt
350ci Chevy small-block that sounds sweet and is very streetable.
It is fitted with a Rochester QuadraJet 4-barrel carburetor, GM
exhaust manifolds and a free flowing dual exhaust. Cooling is
provided by a HD radiator/clutch fan and the small block mates well
with the 3-speed automatic transmission. The chassis anchors Monte
Carlo power steering, power disc/drum brakes and differential.
Electrics have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration.
This handsome street rod truly needs to be driven to be
appreciated. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
