Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am which is in fully restored condition and comes with a great running 400 Pontiac engine.  This TA is a special edition tribute car which was taken apart and restored by seasoned veteran restorers.  This TA has been fully restored and comes with numerous service records and receipts and some photos of the restoration.  This Trans Am features a gorgeous paint job in iconic SE flare, a beautiful Buckskin deluxe interior, restored honeycomb wheels with new tires, and a strong running Pontiac 400 engine. This Trans Am is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Special Edition Black and Gold over Buckskin deluxe vinyl interior.  The factory colors were red over red so this TA has been fully taken apart and fully restored to its current and fresh SE tribute color scheme.  This TA is very fresh and restoration was just completed in 6/2021.

Exterior

The Black and Gold exterior is in beautiful fully restored condition.  This Trans Am was treated to a professional repaint in SE Black and Gold with all new decals which are in new condition and were just installed in 5/2021.  The paint is in terrific condition and has a high gloss and smooth touch, with a beautiful shine.  There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the body and the gaps and lines are very good around the car.  There is no visible rust anywhere on this car or underneath the car.  Its very solid and rust free.  Both bumpers are in good shape with no flaking or faded paint and the nose crest emblem was just changed.  There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. Tires are brand new and correctly sized at 225/70/15 and the OEM Honeycomb wheels are restored with NOS trim rings with new center caps.  All weather stripping and window sweeps are newer and in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with a nice original trunk mat, jack and tools, and the space saver size spare tire with inflator bottle.  The exterior is very fresh and was just completed.

Interior

The Buckskin deluxe interior of this Trans Am is in wonderful stock condition outside of the stereo.  The original seat covers are in great condition with no major wear or rips or seam splits.  The carpet is new with no stains, rips, or holes and was replaced. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or warping and has no repairs.  The dash bezel is in good condition as well. The original door panels are in excellent condition and the door pulls are in tact and work as they should.  The headliner and package tray are both in new condition and were replaced. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock and temperature gauge. The horn, wipers, stereo, and blower motor all work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.  The stereo has been upgraded to a Pontiac retrosound unit with new dash and rear deck speakers.  The stereo works and sounds great and thankfully the dash was not cut for a modern stereo.  The shifter plate and shifter knob and button were just changed to new units as were the door lock pulls.

Mechanical

This Trans Am is in excellent mechanical condition and the 400 Pontiac engine runs very well. The Pontiac 400 engine runs strong and feels fresh and was fully rebuilt at over $5000 in the engine alone, see receipt.  It produces 290 HP as seen on the dyno sheets provided.  This TA has more performance than its stock counterparts and pulls strong and runs well.  All other engine components were upgraded or rebuilt such as, carb. was fully rebuilt, new HEI distributor and new wires and plugs, new fuel pump, new radiator, new starter, etc.  New body mounts and suspension parts were also added and the ride is very smooth and quiet.  In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Trans Am is a great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs strong. The brakes do not pull while driving and stop well. The brakes were fully restored with new calipers and pads and brake lines and the rear brakes were serviced too.  True Walker dual exhaust was recently added and gives this TA an amazing rumble at idle and cruising speeds and new splitter tips were just installed.  Also, the engine is very clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
