GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1965 Citroen 2CV for your
consideration. While early models came with a 373cc H2 cylinder
that pumped out a breathtaking 9 hp, this model has the 602cc H2
that produces about 29hp. It is mated to a unique "twist" style
manual gear selector which controls a 4-speed manual.
Sporting a blue exterior over black interior seats, this 2CV is a
bit rough around the edges. It features a new exhaust and
refurbished fuel system. Also, the selling owner recently added new
tires. A unique feature of the 2CV is the suspension. It is
basically a self-leveling set up that lengthens the wheelbase of
the vehicle on one side of the vehicle when cornering. This allowed
the car to have aggressive handling while maintaining an almost
impossibly smooth ride.
This Citroen is going to need a bit of love but it is a great
machine with plenty of history. There is a near cult-like following
behind these vehicles and now is your chance to take home one of
these unique vehicles. The selling owner does note that there are a
few electrical issues that need to be sorted out prior to having a
