The 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX was the second generation of the Impreza. 2006 marked the second facelift for the WRX and Impreza and it would come to be known as the "Hawkeye" generation. The WRX name means that this is the turbocharged variant of the Impreza and sits between the naturally aspirated base model and the top of the line STI model.

This example is fully built and modified for track use. Outfront Motorsports did the build on this vehicle and the tuning. This WRX features a built 2.5L Turbo Flat Four that had the parts list thrown at it and is was built for endurance racing. Despite the built motor it is still a very drivable car on the street. The 5 speed with the ACT clutch is still easy to shift with a smooth and light clutch. Outfront did the tune as well and on their dyno this car put down 321 HP and 306 Ft-Lbs to the wheels. The KW Coilovers provide a firm but not stiff ride that will keep you planted to the pavement around any corner.

The interior of this model has been removed for track use but the parts are easy to come by and can be installed with little issue. There is a roll cage that is solid and meets all racing specs. The racing seats and harnesses fit great and are solid you will not be moving anywhere once you are inside. There is a removable steering wheel that makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.
