This 1936 Ford Tudor sedan has a great vintage look and an
all-steel body. But you can also see there's a bit more attitude
here. And as you dig deeper to see the Recaro seats, cold-blowing
A/C, upgraded suspension, and well-built 351 V8 powerhouse, you'll
soon realize this is a very cool and complete custom classic.
The first impression might just be a good-looking true classic. The
black paint was upgraded later in life to give a good shine, but it
has aged-in enough to not give away this Ford's street machine
secret. The same goes for the brightwork. So it just has the
vintage impression that lets you appreciate the classic steel that
was formed when Henry Ford was still around. Even little details,
like the fabric roof cover and exposed hinges on the trunkback
sedan's namesake add to the vintage feeling. But then you start to
notice the frenched license plate, third brake lights, and dual
exhaust tips. And the set of genuine Halibrand wheels are a big
clue that this classic has been upgraded for fun.
The leather interior has a clean and custom style that instantly
announces this was built for driving. After all, Recaro only
engineers seats for the best in performance and comfort. So it's a
big upgrade over anything available in the 1930s. The rear seat has
even been upgraded with better bolstering, too. You'll find this a
great classic for cruising with a banjo-style sport steering wheel,
a tilt column, and a full set of crisp/clear gauges. Plus, there
are worthwhile upgrades in comfort like the cold blowing R134a air
conditioning and an AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth mounted in a custom
overhead console.
The butterfly hood is a great classic piece, but within it is much
more modern power. This is a well-built 351 cubic-inch V8. It's
upgraded with aluminum heads, a Carter four-barrel carburetor,
finned Cobra valve covers, and shorty headers feeding the dual
exhaust. It's also supported by the right pieces, like a serpentine
belt system and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. The
undercarriage photos show suspension upgrades, like the Mustang
II-style front end and KYB shocks in the rear. Plus, you have great
driving features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, and front discs.
This is a classic Ford that shows nice and runs strong. It's a
classic coupe that has all the right features to cruise near or far
in comfort. Call today!!!
