Last year Ferrari with “engine in” service making maintenance very affordable No expense was spared on it to get everything in order. I fully upgraded the electrical, ignition system . Don’t be fooled by low prices and low km Mondial’s, I’ve never seen a fully sorted one for sale other than this one. This 1988 is the last year Ferrari that can still be serviced with the engine in the car. Ferrari ‘s after 1988 need an expensive engine out service, easily doubling the cost of maintenance.... This is what I’ve done from a Ferrari specialist shop. -Fully restored suspension(shocks, mounts a-arms etc.) and new bushings all around (lots of pics) -new brakes, rotors machined and new brake hoses -new clutch and new drop down bearing, -machined fly wheel -new thermostat -new water pump -new spark plugs and wires -refinished cam covers -refinished valve cover - full major service(timing belts, all new gaskets, new water pump etc.) -refurbished alternator -updated fuse box with heat sink from Scuderia Rampante . This has made electrical gremlins a thing of the past. A must for any 80’s Ferrari. -gold connector kit from Scuderia rampante - switched all connections to the ecu with gold. This upgrade has made a world of difference to such things as the window motor speed etc... -direct coil ignition system from NFF excellent upgrade from the antiquated marelli micro plex system. More power, better fuel economy, no more expensive parts to deal with. -updated heater blower switch -new Mondial badges -new oem b pillars -rear 3 point seatbelts installed -new door locks -wheels refinished, new centre caps and bolts -new conti dws-06 tires -Cabrio top is in almost new condition -Crema leather interior is in excellent condition and recently treated with leatherique Some other points: -hyper flow cat -custom car cover ($600) -car has 58000 miles -car runs strong and pulls hard -replaced other misc. switches Things yet to be done: -air conditioner compressor -gas flap switch -power mirrors
