Vehicle Description
This 1981 GMC K35 gets things right where it matters: a rebuilt V8
engine, fresh interior, and usability of a heavy-duty dually that's
also a 4x4. So with vintage pickups being red-hot right now, this
is a great way to look cool while getting your work done.
We know you love how this truck looks. After all, if you're going
to have a lifted 4x4 dually, then it needs to be finished in an
intimidating black. It has a deep shine of a newer investment and a
sleek look from deleted badging. And while it looks quite
attractive, it will never be too pretty to get to work. And that's
the real heart of the appeal here. There's versatility within the
style. You see it up front with the cool LED headlight upgrade that
also knows how to really light the way forward. The bright aluminum
wheels look great and are the HD 8-lug unit. There's lean liner
paint on the full bed, including the sides, to keep this one
protected. And this even has a proper trailer hitch when it's time
to do the really dirty jobs.
The black interior continues the look of job-ready quality. There
have been fresh investments in the bench seat, headliner, dash, and
rugged rubber floor mat. It even goes down to the details like a
new windshield and window felts. There are even provisions for air
conditioning (it will need hooking up and servicing to function.)
The updated GMC steering wheel is on a tilt column, and so you get
a commanding view of the wraparound gauge panel.
There's more quality investment under the hood. The 350 cubic-inch
V8 was given a fresh rebuild. It now includes a three-angle valve
job, Comp Cams Thumpr camshaft, Holley ribbed valve covers, HEI
ignition, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. It's
a stout power package, and you get proper control over it all with
the four-speed manual transmission. This has a new clutch, and the
first gear is even a granny gear to make sure you can always have
the big low-end torque when you need it. This is a go-anywhere 4x4
that includes a six-inch lift, new shocks, new U-joints, and deep
dreads on six Hankook DynaPro M/T tires. And you don't just have to
stay local in this pickup. With dual fuel tanks, power steering,
power brakes, and front discs you can imagine towing the toys out
of town in this K35.
This is the cool classic 4x4 pickup that can do more work than some
new pickups - all for far less money. That's absolutely
irresistible, and so you know this deal will be gone soon. Call
