Vehicle Description
STK 2962 1955 Chevrolet 2 Door Handyman
This Chevrolet 210 'Handyman' 2-door post wagon is an unusual
classic tri-five. It has been fully restored and is a striking
example of a performance classic - original in appearance, but with
strategic mechanical upgrades. (The owner has also provided
receipts for work recently performed.) The restoration began with a
straight exterior that was professionally reshot in a shade of Red
very similar to '55 Gypsy Red. Chrome trim is in excellent
condition and a resolute stance on Chevy rally wheels w/trim rings,
spinner centers and Uniroyal Tiger Paw radials completes the
stunning exterior package. The only thing that rivals the exterior
is the completely restored red/black vinyl interior. Every detail
has been carefully addressed - bench seat upholstery, headliner,
door panels, carpeting - all carefully finished. The 210 is
equipped with tinted glass, air conditioning, seat belts and a
tilt-column that mounts a Z28-style spoke wheel. The custom dash
holds a complete set of Classic Instrument analog gauges and a
Sanyo AM/FM/CD stereo system provides tunes. Under the classic hood
sits a rebuilt 350ci small-block that sounds amazing. Enhancements
include an Edelbrock aluminum intake, new Edelbrock 650cfm 4V carb,
electronic ignition, aluminum radiator and electric fan. Exhaust is
routed through 2-1/2" Chevy 'Ram's Horn' manifolds to a
free-flowing exhaust system. Behind this Mighty Mouse sits a
4-speed 700-R4 automatic and differential with 3.73:1 gearing. The
front suspension is equipped with power steering and a sway bar.
Rear suspension is leaf springs and HD shocks. Power assisted front
disc/rear drum brakes w/dual master cylinder handle stopping
requirements. This outstanding '55 210 'Handyman" belongs in your
Bowtie garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS"
