Beautiful Southern Indiana 1966 Mustang coupe with 289 v8 - Sauterne Gold with Black vinyl roof and matching pony interior. I am the second owner with the origional manual and warranty card. V8 Engine - 2 barrel automatic transmission with power steering and drum brakes. A beautiful original car with some slight upgrades. The engine runs strong with a smooth shifting automatic trans. The factory carb drove me nuts, so I made a recent professional engine upgrade that includes a Holley Street Avenger Model 2300 Carburetor, Pertronix Ignition Coil, Pertronix ignition system, new wires, champion plugs, radiator and hose, battery, air filter, fuel filter, muffler, adjust brakes and pack wheel bearings, wheel seals, replace trans pan gasket, new Monroe shocks. The body panels are solid metal, and the previous repaint is beautiful. Only one small body trunk panel wrinkle by the left rear light, it didn't bother me enough to repair. The black vinyl top is perfect. The underside is extremely solid but I noticed some slight rust in the floor pans so took everything out to see what was up. I then cut out and replaced the 3 floor pans, with proper welding, then cover with Dynamat Extreme sound mat. Many other new interior parts, Bluetooth retro radio with speaker & antenna, new glove box. New carpet, & mats. The Pony seats are new from the previous owner and are in perfect condition. I replaced the air box and air hoses so the air is directed properly for the dash and floor. The original air conditioning refurbishment includes cleaning, repaint, new chrome plated baffles & new condenser hoses. The air conditioner works fine but needs a condenser refresh or replacement. All the chrome is beautiful, with new chrome bumper guards, new front window chrome trim. The doors have new window brushes, new weatherstrip, new rollers replaced as needed. New rubber door seal weatherstrip for a very solid closure. Lots of care with attention to detail, with replacing parts as needed. I have all the receipts etc. This car is near perfect, for a new owner to drive and enjoy or take it to the next level as desired. This is a rare color combination that screams the 60's. It is super solid car that has been gone through, thumbs up everywhere we go! Any other questions happily to help with.
