Vehicle Description
The speedy look, flathead V8 power, and classic/custom feel are all
what will draw you to check out this 1924 Ford T-bucket. But it's
all the quality details that will truly amaze on this cool
racer.
All T-buckets have the extra cool of a custom speed machine. But
while many look like they were built for Saturday night at the
boulevard, this one looks like it was made to spend its weekends at
the track. It has that vintage racecar vibe with the raked
windshield, classic wire wheels, and a push bar attached to the
rear axle. The body is a modern and smooth fiberglass, but the
creamy tan and red is pure vintage style. It even has the right
hints of age as a true contender should. This also has some very
cool details, like how the radiator, shocks, and streamlined Ford
V8 logo fit in with the color theme. Plus, the full chassis (look
at the undercarriage photos!) and wire wheels are done to match,
too.
The interior is more of a great mix of this professional racer and
cool street machine. The tuck and roll upholstery is a great
classic touch as it wraps around the bench seat. And this tan
matches the dash and exterior. It's a true driver's set up with a
tall floor shifter, sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a tach
on the column, and the rest of the gauges dominating the dash.
The engine is said to be a 1951 Mercury motor, which was desirable
back in the day because that was the 255 cubic-inch flathead V8.
And this one was made to go on display. There are terrific details,
like the engine block, Edelbrock head covers, air grabber, and so
many other components painted to match the car's red. And it's
especially easy to see it all with the polished firewall. But as
classic as this personation is, you can also spot the upgrades that
make it a stronger and more modern machine. The Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, alternator, and aluminum
radiator w/electric fan are all welcomed upgrades. The V8 fires up
with a nice rumble as headers feed the dual exhaust, and the
cutouts even give you more of that classic racecar sound. While the
chassis has a strong and modern appearance, components like the
suspension and three-speed manual transmission are there for pure
old-school fun.
There are a ton of impressive details that all come together to
make a distinct, classic, and speedy-looking T-bucket. That's why
you know you need to take it home. Call today!!!
