1965 Ford Mustang Fastback
A largely original and unmolested fastback that was in storage with its previous owner since 1997. This Mustang was built on October 29th (Code 29K) at the Dearborn, MI assembly plant and sent to the Pittsburgh (Code 14) DSO.
I believe that this car has never been taken apart. It has had one re-paint (I would say sometime in the 80s) in its correct Code A Raven Black. The interior is also the correct Code 25 Red Vinyl.
The car is equipped with the correct 200 cubic inch, one-barrel inline-six motor with a three-speed manual transmission. This car is unbelievably solid. It was undercoated when new and is beautiful underneath. When we got the car we did a complete tune-up with new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, and condenser. We went all over the brakes and put new wheel cylinders all around. All of the fluids were changed. All of the lights and gauges work properly and so does the horn. This Mustang has a new fuel tank and sending unit and we put newer dual redline tires on it that really look sharp.
It's a driver-quality car with blemishes and imperfections, but it runs and drives excellently and is finished in super desirable colors.
