Mercedes Benz built the W123 series of automobiles from 1975
through 1986. To boot, they were the most successful Mercedes ever
made, selling 2.7 Million units before production ended in 1986.
These cars were sold to every part of the world and many places
including third world contries using them for taxi service. It is
not an uncommon sight seeing these reach over 500,000
miles....Which is insane to even todays standards. GR Auto Gallery
of Traverse City is pleased to present a one family owned from new
300 with the current member owning this from 1989 when it had
44,000 miles on the clock. She has driven and serviced this car for
over thirty years accumulating just more than 100,000. This car has
never been used as a winter car and has for the most part been all
M-B dealer maintained with records in hand to prove it. The
maintenance guide is even filled out. Has owners manuals and two
sets of keys even along with the original window sticker. This car
sold new for more than $33,000 in 1985. This is a very honest car
with the only real wear is right behind the drivers side rear
wheel, the rest of the car including the underside is very clean
and dry. This 300 starts, runs and drives down the road nicely. The
interior shows some expected wear but still presentable. Moon roof
operates as it should. The radio was changed out at some point and
works. The original spare tire, jack and took kit are still in the
car as well. In 2013, the owner was swiped in a parking lot and the
passenger side front fender was repaired and re-painted.
