Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1931 Ford Model A
five-window rumble seat coupe. Finished in two-tone black and
maroon over grey interior, this is a nicely restored example that
runs and drives well. Excellent paint quality over a straight and
solid all-steel body (although the maroon looks nearly black in
some of the photos due to the limitations of digital photography,
in others you can clearly see the contrast between the black and
the maroon). Maroon wire wheels in good condition with bias-ply
whitewalls and two spares, plus a large trunk on the back for
storage. Nice bumpers, grille shell and trim.
Interior is very nicely finished in an attractive medium-grey
velour, plus fully padded carpet on the floors and kick panels.
Rumble seat is upholstered to match. Horn, lights and gauges are
all working as they should. Nice door panels and headliner with no
stains or fading.
Under the hood is a 201 cubic inch flathead four that starts easily
and runs well. Upgrades include a 12-volt electrical system with
alternator and a manifold cabin heater. Steering, brakes, clutch
and gearbox all function as they should. Turn-key mechanically with
no known needs.
