Sold new at Hellawell Cadillac Olds in Pittsfield mass..Traded Back to Hellwall in 1977 and Sold to a local optometrist named Dr. Peter Cerruti. Dr Cerruti bought this W30 ragtop with 46k miles on it.

I've had a couple conversations with the Dr just after acquiring this rare olds.. When Doc purchased the car in
1977 it was still bittersweet. He told me he hated the color.. He went and had it color changed to dark blue including the jams.
There is still plenty of Bittersweet throughout.. Especially on the underside of the hood with the date
of 2-2-71 still present with grease pencil.. The original bumpers are straight and clean.. In 1980 the original motor gave up the ghost.
The good doctor went to Drakes used auto parts in Lee mass and purchased a used 1970 model 455 out of a olds 98 and had them install it..

Original Engine, H Heads, Intake are long gone... However the Rochester Quadrajet is original to the car as well as
the OAI air cleaner assy... The transmission and rear are original to the car..
Original rear quarters, Doors & Floors. The fenders also appear to be original, Drivers side being flat "70 style" and pass side
being rippled "71-2 style.. The original grills are all there. In the durty trunk is original spatter paint, mat and jack.

Original ivory bucket seat interior as far as we can tell..
There may be a build sheet somewhere in this car. The next caretaker can rip the interior out to find one..
The dash is unmolested, The carpet is very nice, The original door panels are very presentable,
Radio plays as well as the 8 track.. All the gauges & tach work. Good working power windows..
Original OAI hood with original bittersweet over spray and date.. The white convertible top is in excellent shape.

I wrote this ad and provided everything I know about this 442 W30 raftop.
Please don't call and ask me "what can you tell me about the car???" I purchased this car 10 years ago with the same belief I have today.. ITS REAL.. IT'S GOT THE WRONG MOTOR, IT'S GOT THE ORIGINAL TH400 TRANS, IT'S GOT THE ORIGINAL 10 BOLT POSI REAR END, IT'S GOT THE WRONG COLOR AND THE PAINT IS 40 YEARS OLD...O YA UNDER THE HOOD IS UGLY....
You be the judge and jury... The licence plate is for display purposes only..
I've driven this car a handful of times every summer.. It still runs well and drives well..
