This 1971 Scout 800B Comanche was built on 2/11/1971 and delivered to Portland. The Scout was purchased by an Air Force pilot stationed in Utah where it spent over 35 years in the arid climate. Next, the truck was purchased by a collector and stored in climate control up on blocks for 10 years. The last owner spent over $50,000 on service after he purchased the truck in the mid-2000s and all receipts are included with the sale.
The truck had 1 repaint over 20 years ago, and the body is one of the most solid we have seen in recent years. The Comanche has solid rockers, wheel arches, beautiful door bottoms, and is free from excessive body filler.
Although International Harvested was supposed to produce 1,500 Comanches, actual production numbers are believed to be just over 1,300. With the use of these trucks saw and the rust that ensued, there are very few Comanches on the road today.
