Just finished a gorgeous rotisserie restoration. This is a real
Rallye green Road Runner born with a 4-speed. Upgraded with a Hemi
motor, correct air grabber and a Dana 60 4.11 sure grip rear. We
have extensive pictures of the restoration. It's Fast!
EXTERIOR: Gorgeous to look at. The great colors, red hood inserts
and Magnum wheels with redlines are hot. We have a pile of invoices
and pictures from the body shop, they specialize in Mopar
restorations. It was stripped to a bare shell and put on a
rotisserie so it could be meticulously restored from every angle.
There is no rust and the gaps are nice. It was sealed in urethane
primer then painted its original Rallye green color. Rare spring
time color, estimated only 1-3% were this color. The metal flake is
laid out nice, the clear coat is polished like glass. The dual
matte finish hood stripes are painted on. The red grills in the
hood are where the fresh air is fed to the motor. All new glass
except the rear window. The vinyl top is replaced. The stainless
trim was straightened and polished. Rechromed bumpers, the grill
was restored. It has correct antenna, new mirror, door handles,
emblems and tail lights. New chrome 15 inch Magnum wheels with BF
Goodrich radial redline tires. You can see the red brake drums
peeking through the back wheels. The door jambs are painted real
slick, new weather strips.
INTERIOR: The interior was gutted to bare. It was restored, primed
and completely painted gloss Rallye green. All new upholstery it
has bucket seats with the Buddy armrest in the middle that lifts
up. New door panels, armrests, handles and window cranks. The metal
on the doors is painted smooth and glossy. The dash area is in
excellent shape. The instrument panel, chrome knobs, heater
controls, dash pad are all excellent. The headliner has been
replaced, dome light works. It has a vintage Stewart Warner oil
pressure gauge below the dash. The best part is that Hurst pistol
grip sticking out of the floor!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a genuine 426 Hemi motor with dual quads.
It also has a genuine Air Grabber for a Hemi. Detailed to show
quality. The engine bay is pristine metal painted just as slick as
the outside. It has original fender tag still attached. The VIN
number on the core support matches the car. All the components look
new or restored. New wiper motor, the washer bottle is hooked.
Reproduction hoses and clamps, correct Mopar radiator. It features
power brakes. The alternator looks new, battery is bolted down, has
new cables. Correct fuel line, chrome valve covers, all the
components on the firewall look new. The "beep beep" horn
works.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely restored, all metal. Sealed and
painted high gloss Rallye green. New mat and weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: It was flipped on a rotisserie, the bottom of this car
is just as pretty as the top. We have detailed photos and it's
stripped down bear. It was completely restored, there is zero rust.
It was first sealed with urethane primer then painted Rallye green
with a clear coat. It is smooth and glossy. The entire chassis is
restored. The front end steering and suspension is completely
rebuilt and detailed. The rear suspension is rebuilt- new springs,
shackles, bushings and shocks. The brake system is all restored,
new brake lines, hoses, e-brake is hooked up. It has disc in front.
New dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe and correct chrome
tips. New fuel system including tank, straps and sending unit.
Looking up at the motor it is spotless, has a high torque starter.
It is an original 4-speed car with the factory hole in the floor.
All Hemis come with a Dana 60 rear end with 4.11 sure grip gears,
that is what this car has.
This is a fresh, detailed restoration. Gorgeous to look at and
exciting to drive. I drove this one home. It performed and
functions real well. I thought it was quick but when I realized
pushing the gas pedal harder opens up the 2nd 4 barrel carb I was
really surprised!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
