Vehicle Description
Of course, you're going to stop and look at a blacked-out 1967
Lincoln Continental. It's a true icon that also has the slick look
of a custom machine. As you get closer, you'll start to see the
huge investment in an adjustable air ride suspension, bold and
loaded red leather interior, four-wheel disc brakes, a
fuel-injected V8, and so much more. It's one of the most awesome
all-around builds you can get your hands on right now.
A build like this is never happenstance. It is a purposeful machine
where it takes a big investment and an eye for quality to deliver a
total package like this. That's why we have $88k in receipts
documenting the 2014 build. The black paint has a piano-like gloss
down the sides. And it has a striking two-tone style where the top
of the fender line divides into a matte finish for the hood, roof,
and trunk. The darkness consumes traditionally chrome areas, like
the grille, bumpers, hood ornament, and trim. The full black
package could be called "murdered out" but there just feels like
more sophistication going on here. The quality of the fit and
finish make the darkness feel more like formalwear. The wheels are
a terrific representation of the thoughtfulness of the full
package. They are trimmed in black to go with the paint, but they
use the large 20-inch size to really draw attention to the
intricate spokes that are the one piece of brightwork on this
blackout car. And that hint of red matches the pinstripe and is a
preview of the interior.
You'll love opening the suicide doors to show off a package that's
distinct, custom, premium, and gorgeous. The red really takes over
as it dominates on the smooth dash, artful door panels, and supple
leather seats. But the black shows off more of the build's
thoughtfulness. It's used for nice accenting on the seat piping and
seatbelts. Plus, the carpeting is a deep black so you never have to
worry about everyone's shoes when you share this custom with family
and friends. This has plenty of cool vintage details like the
ribbon speedometer, bright trim, and working clock in the dash. And
classic luxuries are working like the power seats, power windows,
and power locks. But this is also fully upgraded to make sure it's
a terrific cruiser. That's why you have cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning and a full infotainment touchscreen with AM/FM/CD/DVD
with navigation, satellite radio, and Bluetooth. There's a full DVS
air ride controller to dial-in the ideal stance from the driver's
seat. And speaking of the air ride, the full finished custom trunk
has panels to hide the subwoofer speakers and the air ride control
in this award-worthy total package.
The sporty forward-hinged hood gives a great view of the large 462
cubic-inch MEL V8. This is the correct motor for the car, and while
it has a classic style, it now benefits from an Edelbrock E-street
fuel injection system. That means plenty of old-school torque
that's now backed by modern steadfastness. The three-speed
automatic transmission makes for a fantastic cruiser, and the
upgraded four-link rear keeps it riding smoothly. Power steering
and upgraded four-wheel power disc brakes complete a package that's
easy to show off at any time.
This is the kind of car that is terrific to take anywhere and is
going to be up for awards everywhere. So don't miss this thoughtful
total build. Call today!!!
