V8 power, an upgraded five-speed, true utility, and a terrific
price are all what you get with this 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup. The
really cool story on this classic is just a bonus.
This truck has the kind of tale we all want on our classic pickup.
It has spent over a half-century with the same family (father and
son.) So this is the first time it's offered outside of the family
tree in 52 years. And this long bed Chevy has the right look of a
patriarch. There is a glossy finish from a distance that will look
good in-between the stoplights, but as you get up close, you can
see some of the evidence of dad's shop truck. The bed sides have
been protected with aluminum, and even the bed floor, too. So it
really has a ready-to-work vibe. But being used doesn't mean being
abused. The little details, right down to the window seals, tell
the pickup's full history of care. So while the value price can
leave plenty of room in your budget for paint, bodywork,
personalization, etc., this one is already impressive for the way
its aged/earned appearance helps tell its unique story.
The exterior is blue with white accents, and that two-tone spirit
continues inside. It keeps the work truck attitude with the updated
velour bench seat, clean factory gauges, and a stock steering wheel
that has the right aged-in feel from years of getting the job done.
But then you also see the upgrades like the Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo
with USB input and the Hurst floor shifter. And now you can also
start to understand how this family truck has also transitioned
into a classic cruiser lifestyle.
Within the last decade, there have been big investments in making
this a stronger-running truck. That started with a transplant of a
350 cubic-inch crate V8. It inhales deeply with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, and the long tube headers add power and
rumble to the dual exhaust. This was also upgraded to a TKO 500
five-speed manual transmission in 2014 to give you good control
over the full powerband. A new one-piece driveshaft, a front-end
rebuild, newer shocks, and newer Cooper Cobra tires are all part of
this investment in quality. Power steering, power brakes, and the
desirable trailing arm rear suspension are all about keeping this
quite a solid cruiser.
Complete with maintenance records, this truck has earned its
respect, and you'll love driving it around and telling its history.
So don't miss this distinct and affordable C10. Call today!!!
