One Owner, Original, Numbers-Matching Corvette!
This one-owner 1977 Corvette L-82 Stingray Coupe features a sharp style, the iconic T-top and an original, numbers-matching engine . . . all which make it a great find.
It has been well-maintained and retains its authentic look, from the Magic-Mirror acrylic exterior finish, fiberglass body that won’t rust or corrode, stainless-steel muffler covers and protective fiberglass inner fenders.
The exterior as well as the interior are both in good original condition, and the instrument panel is visible through the tilt-telescopic steering wheel column, a new design that year. The large speedometer, tachometer and auxiliary gauges include a clock and retro-style AM/FM tuner. Other features include power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, stay-lit dome for courtesy lights, visor mirror, headlights-on buzzer, low fuel indicator and engine compartment light.
The original, numbers-matching special 350 cu in, 4-barrel V8 (L-82) engine offers a higher lift cam than the standard 350 V8, special heads with larger valves, impact-extruded pistons and a forged crank running in 4-bolt main bearing caps. The close ratios of this 4-speed manual transmission are better suited for numerous high-speed up-and-down shifts associated with competition driving with a fully synchronized 2.43 first-gear ratio. Hopefully, the next owner will take full advantage of this feature.
This sleek classic is a good driver with power steering, independent front and rear suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes and Goodyear Eagle GT series, steel belted radial tires. It’s just waiting to be taken out on its next driving adventure.
Keep in mind that this Corvette is all-original and has been under the same ownership since day one (see the original title in the owner’s name in the photo gallery).
