Vehicle Description
This 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme is an ultra-low mileage coupe
with a ton of originality. It's a V8 cruiser that you'll love for
everything from its intricate style to the loaded A/C interior.
Oldsmobile always seemed to know how to deliver style. The front
end makes a well-defined statement with a pointed middle and
waterfall grilles that have the sharp drop-off of Niagara Falls.
The rear shows off more of the crisply-defined look, and it's
nicely detailed, right down to the badging within the taillights.
This is said to be a factory paint vehicle, and it has not only
survived but thrived! So you'll love the brightness that's still in
the white finish. It's the kind of preservation you get on a
low-mileage car. And since it's believed that the odometer reflects
the full actual mileage, that would have this one averaging under
700 miles annually. Adding to the elegance of this classic Olds is
also a comprehensive light blue accent. It includes the blue vinyl
top that coordinates with quite intricate pinstriping to give you
that cool 1970s-style upper-class appearance. Even the Super Stock
wheels are done in blue, too!
All that blue on the outside is also a preview of the sea of blue
that awaits you inside. So this full package feels thoughtfully
laid out. Cloth-topped seats, the smooth dash, premium door panels,
and plenty of wood-like trim all look excellently preserved. There
are also premium features like power windows. As preserved as this
all looks, you'll also find a few well-integrated upgrades. The
radio is now a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner, and the factory air
conditioning has been upgraded to R134a refrigerant to keep you
comfortable in modern times. While these intermediates have plenty
of room to carry all your family and friends, this is a very
driver-oriented setup. That's why the split front bench gives you
the choice of seating up to six, or you can fold down the front
armrest for individual comfort. There's a tilt steering column, and
the controls are all tilted towards you. Plus, the dual pod gauges
are always a nice touch.
Open the hood to see a very honest and original engine bay. This is
the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel carb on
top. The level of originality is seen everywhere, right down to the
GM parts sticker on the factory air cleaner. But an affordable Olds
like this is also the classic you want to drive. That's why you'll
be happy that the V8 fires up easily and idles smoothly. Plus with
features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, power brakes, and front discs, this survivor is an easy
choice for your anytime classic.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the kind of coupe that you're
going to be taking to survivor shows (and likely grabbing some
awards.) So if you love a true vintage premium machine, don't miss
this Olds. Call now!
