upholstery gets busy casting bright glares in our infinity-wall

ONE COOL RIDE!
Sealed in a superb combination of Silver & Black 2-stage Paint,
this slick Bel Air is the beneficiary of a highly detailed,
Professional ground-up restoration that's both clean, custom, and
precise. Naturally, the enthusiasts who massaged this post's
enticing profile paid plenty of attention to the fundamentals, but
their primary focus was creating the most perfect surfacing
possible. That surfacing is founded on timeless panels that are
solid and well-aligned. And today, this Chevy rolls as a first-rate
classic that mixes polished tradition with rich customization!
Not surprisingly, this Tri-Five's familiar Chevy pigment creates a
fabulous
foundation for a select array of choice bolt-ons & customizations.
At the front of the car, a smoothed bumper traces a polished
grille, pristine custom-fitted parking lamps, and traditional,
stainless-trimmed headlights. At the top of that grille, a
customized hood, and Polished electric windshield wipers. Behind
those blades, a stainless-trimmed greenhouse slides one-piece side
glass between familiar Chevrolet Sport Mirrors. At the base of that
glass, an emblem-free profile floats custom shaved doors That
accent the iconic factory Speed Spears. And at the back of the car,
a second smoothed bumper frames LED tail lamps and a custom shaved
decklid.
The car was pie cut 2.5 " from the front park light area all the
way back to the rear quarters and zeroing to a point to give it
that sneaky raked look (bet you couldn't figure that out, but knew
something looked slick about this car) the roof was also pancaked
and the roof rail edges rolled smoothly to the ends where it meets
the stainless trim work. The one-piece front door glass and custom
stainless trim work (another thing you couldn't quite figure out
about its sleek look maybe) just add to this car's total one-off
build platform. This amount of work and final fitment of it all is
just unreal when you think of the time it took to build this total
complete custom fabrication job, your head goes numb.
CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE POWER
Pop this Bel Air's stylish custom made hood and you'll find a hot
Chevrolet
Performance 502 V8 that, like the car's restoration, is fresh and
ready to roll. One of the most well-rounded crate engines Chevrolet
offers. It utilizes aluminum construction heads and a
racing-inspired Hot Cam to mix miles of thrills with years of
reliable cruising. And, churning some impressive horsepower the
smooth-revving mill is certainly no slouch in the performance
department! A reliable and impressive fuel injection system adds to
its eye candy when you first pop the hood. Serpentine belt
components spin a modern water pump between a muted alternator and
AC compressor. A heavy-duty aluminum radiator fronts quick electric
puller fans. Sleeved plug wires join Concept One power steering
components and tidy headers to detail an otherwise purpose-built
performer. And everything rides in a clean, gloss silver painted
engine bay that's finished with trick dipsticks, a billet expansion
tank and custom-built hood supports.
LOOKS, & POWER
Not surprisingly, the bottom of this show-worthy bowtie continues
the theme of pairing proven hardware with enhanced technology.
Gloss Black floors blend seamlessly with a Glossy Black Painted Art
Morrison chassis, which are finished with tubular control arms & a
front sway bar, and a full suite of adjustable coil-over-shocks.
Behind the awesome engine, a 6-speed manual spins the Driveshaft,
which twists torque to a Positraction independent polished
differential and sporty, 3.73 gears. Turns come courtesy of power
rack-and-pinion steering. Speed gets scrubbed by big polished front
Wilwood calipers, which cinch multiple brake pistons around front
slotted rotors & inbound rear rotors. Aluminized & coated exhaust
feeds throaty mufflers. And all that hardware rolls on a set of
sweet Budnik wheels, which spin 225/50ZR17 TOYO tires in front and
245/45ZR18s in the rear.
CUSTOM AND COOL
Between the doors, a full custom, professionally installed cockpit
manifests as a striking combination of two-tone Gray leathers.
Front and center, a set of beautiful buckets lace the front of the
interior. In front of those seats, a smoothed custom-made dash
wraps a full set of Classic Instrument Gauges. At the base of that
dash, a custom, full-length console centers a modern shifter
between hidden power window switches and a Bluetooth-capable
head
unit. New carpet floats piped mats between custom side panels and a
custom headliner. The driver spins a familiar Chevy Rally Wheel
around a tilting column and billet foot pedals. And Vintage Air
climate control keeps the heat at bay. As a product of a detailed,
ground-up build that would probably take a second mortgage to
duplicate, this Chevy rolls on the right side of impressive. It's a
highly desirable tri-five that has been carefully fitted with all
the right stuff to be one seriously cool cruiser. If you're
dreaming of the perfect blend of lavish '50s style and modern,
reliable performance, you've found the ultimate classic!
