We just acquired this car from the person we sold it to 7 years
ago. The car underwent a frame off restoration before he bought it.
He spent significant amount of money making major improvements
including rebuilt motor and trans, new convertible top and power
steering installed.
EXTERIOR: The body shows really well, its straight with no rust or
damage showing. The gaps are real good, especially the hood. In
front the bumper, grill moldings, emblems and turnsignals are in
very good condition. The chrome has peeled in a few spots on the
grill. The chrome grill on the hood scoop looks new, trim on the
sides are excellent. All the trim around the windshield is polished
like chrome. Wiper arms and door handles look like new. The chrome
in the back is all very nice. It has a new Stayfast black canvas
convertible top, cost almost $3,000. It has radial white wall tires
on beautiful basket wire hubcaps with the red inserts. The
windshield crystal clear, all the chrome around the windshield is
polished bright.
INTERIOR: Sharp looking two-tone red and white interior. No cracks
in the steering wheel, the horn ring is not broken like most of
them. The instruments have clear lenses, it has a factory
tachometer. The door panels and upholstery were replaced at the
time of restoration. It has an aftermarket center console with cup
holders that lifts right out.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine was completely rebuilt and balanced
only 2,000 miles ago. We have receipt and spec sheet. It has
hardened seats for unleaded fuel and rebuilt harmonic balancer. All
the hoses, clamps, plug wires, motor mounts were replaced. Water
pump, fuel pump, motor mounts were replaced. Professionally rebuilt
4 barrel "teapot" carb. Upgraded from a generator to an alternator.
Upgraded Pertronix ignition and Flame Thrower coil. Upgraded desert
cool aluminum radiator. Correct power steering system was added.
The engine compartment is beautiful, it's all detailed up real
nice. It has the engine dress up kit which includes a chrome air
cleaner and oil breather, finned aluminum valve covers. Upgraded
Optima battery has a billet hold down with a disconnect.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is restored nicely. All solid metal painted
white. It has a white wall spare. The cardboard seat divider,
rubber trunk mat and weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame for a complete
restoration. The metal is so clean under this car it was all
painted gloss white. The chassis was rebuilt and repainted and semi

at the time of the restoration. The power steering control valve is
new. Looking up at the motor it's still spotless, not greasy. The
