This beautiful TR3A has enjoyed a complete, no expense spared
professional restoration by its previous owner - an avid Triumph
collector, including rebuilding or replacing virtually every
component. Zero rust. It has been driven 1,650 miles since the
restoration. This TR3A has its numbers matching engine and has been
upgraded to a TR3B 4 speed synchro transmission with overdrive, and
rebuilt along with a top to bottom engine rebuild by Macy's Garage
in Ohio - a TR3 specialty shop. The interior was upgraded to
leather with heated seats. A partial list of other work performed
includes: new wiring harness and all wiring, all gauges rebuilt,
slotted and drilled front disc brakes, front anti-sway bar, new
clutch, brake system, fuel system, suspension, exhaust, generator
converted to alternator, keyed battery shutoff, new top and tonneau
cover.
Receipts from the 2012-2013 restoration total well over $60,000.
This is in addition to the $19,000 the previous owner paid for the
car. The car comes with its Heritage Trust Certificate, receipts
for all restoration work, the original Bill of Sale, and period
books and magazine articles. It would be hard to find a TR3A that
has received this level of attention at this price. Runs and drives
perfectly and everything works as it should.
