Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford Ranchero Restomod has awesome stroker V8 power, a
five-speed upgrade, four-wheel disc brakes, and a custom A/C
interior built for both speed and comfort. Best of all, this fully
upgraded pickup is wrapped in an ultra-sleek two-tone
presentation.
The '70 Ranchero is a great starting point for custom upgrades. It
was already the right mix of handsome and aggressive with the
updated Tornio-based styling that was pure muscle car cool. And
this one adds to that with a ton of custom style. The front end is
a smooth single piece that accentuates the shapely pointed fender
ends. The door handles were shaved and the panels line up well, and
so you really see the curves of the sheet metal in the profile. The
rear keeps the smooth look going with the integrated taillights and
bumpers. And there are cool custom elements, like the spoiler and
Rancher pinstriping. There's a slick silver paint with plenty of
metallic to radiate in the sunshine. And the black makes for a
tasteful two-tone that also shows off a nice dark side. After all,
it coordinates with a hood scoop, blackout grille, sport mirrors,
and a chin spoiler big enough to make this look like a Boss
Mustang.
The remote door opener is on your key fob, and it's your gateway to
an interior that continues the dark and premium feeling. There's a
quality feeling in the fundamentals with carpeting, dash pad, door
panels all showing a deep color. Plus, the seats are great-looking
upgraded buckets with a center console in-between. There are
comfortable features like an AM/FM/XM/CD stereo w/USB input, cup
holders, power windows, and cold-blowing air conditioning. There's
a Grant sports steering wheel, upgraded auxiliary gauges, and a
tach mounted prominently on the top of the dash. And have you
counted the gears on the Hurst shifter yet?
The dark engine bay has a clean and mean appearance. At the center
is a 408 cubic-inch stroker V8. It's built with a full Edelbrock
performance suite that includes aluminum heads, an RPM Air-Gap
intake, and a four-barrel carburetor on top. It also has good
supporting components like a large Champion three-row aluminum
radiator, an HEI distributor, tidy MSD plug wires, and the battery
mounted in the rear for better weight distribution. It fires up
readily as the Hooker headers add extra power and rumble to the
H-pipe dual exhaust. The Tremec TKO500 is a stout five-speed that
gives you full control over the powerful motor. This feeds a Ford
9-inch rear with versatile 3.25 gears (a 3.89 setup also comes with
the sale.) Power steering, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and upgraded
four-wheel power disc brakes make for a great all-around driving
package.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance
records, and two binders of restoration receipts. This is one of
the most distinctive years for the Ranchero, and this restomod
maximizes the best of it all. So don't miss your chance, call
today!
