For Sale: 1998 Jeep Wrangler in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

If you've been looking for a Jeep that enhances your off-road lifestyle, then you're going to want to dig into the details on this 1998 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. Because while every Jeep is tough, this one has been given all the right upgrades (including a strong 350 V8) to be able to pull its brothers out of all sorts of trouble. So it's not hard to imagine this as the king of all Jeeps.

It's obvious from every angle that this is a custom build made to traverse territories that have never seen a vehicle before. Up front there's a strong Warn Rock Crawler front bumper. And the Warn 9,500 lbs winch is a PowerPlant unit that also has an air compressor built-in. Along the sides are rock guards. And the fenders are flared wider to go over the Eaton wheels with Kevlar-backed Goodyear Wrangler MTR tires. In the rear is a Warn Rock Crawler rear bumper with a win-away full-size spare and a trailer hitch. All of these upgrades are done in black, and so the full soft top and door package looks color-coordinated when it's in place. The paint looks good, and it has the right tone for a premium Jeep that's also not afraid to get down to serious business. And the color is called Cortez Silver. That's a GM color, and it's a fun nod to the upgrade under the hood.

Inside, this has a nice look of a proper nature crawler with upgraded Mastercraft seats. There are proper seatbelts for the rear, and the front high-back buckets even have full racing harnesses. The liner paint on the floors adds ruggedness. Plus, you have performance prices like a B&M ratchet shifter and a full set of AutoMeter Phantom gauges (including a large dash-mounted tach.) As upgraded as this is to be a hardy 4x4, there are the right comfort features, too. This has an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo, locking center console w/cup holders, and the overall appeal of a TJ Wrangler that has a proper dash and half doors.

For versatile power, it's hard to beat the Chevy 350 small block V8. This has one of the hardiest reputations around, and this power plant benefits from the addition of performance components such as a Holley 650 dual-feed four-barrel carburetor, Holley Street Dominator intake, and Hedman headers that feed throaty side pipes to give this Jeep a hint of muscle car growl. It's also supported by the right pieces, like a full MSD ignition package, an Optima red top battery, and an aluminum radiator. The consignor provided a full list of the upgrades, and h included a new NP241 4x4 transfer case, custom Tom Woods driveshafts, new shocks, and Detroit Locker diffs front and rear (call for the full detail breakdown.) The V8 is mated to GM's 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and the power steering and power brakes w/front discs are welcomed in all conditions.

This is the tough-looking Wrangler that has the unique upgrades to be the first one up every hill. So if you want to be the king, call today!
