Vehicle Description
This 1956 Ford F-100 was restored to have plenty of vintage style.
But what's really going to have your attention are the upgrades
like the well-built V8, four-on-the-floor, and custom A/C interior
that take this vintage machine and make it an all-around fun
driver.
There's no denying that the mid-50s Ford pickups were some of the
best-looking tools ever built. They have an aggressive
forward-leaning attitude (further emphasized by the custom stance.)
And the curvy bodywork has a classic old pickup look that also
manages to be sporty at the same time. This one is a custom
creation, but it keeps many of the vintage pieces like the chrome
bumpers, door handles, and badging - allowing it to travel a bit
incognito. And we always love it when there's fresh lumber on the
bed floor. Fit and finish are good all around, and a glossy black
shine of the paint reminds you that there are less than 200 miles
on the full build. But this one gives plenty of clues to its true
nature. After all, you may have the classic two-piece wheel trim
and whitewalls, but you can see that the rubber is wide enough to
be a street machine. And everything from the pinstriping on the
tailgate to the side exhaust tips signal this is more than just a
classic feed hauler.
The exterior has plenty of red accents against the black, but the
interior really makes it a full two-tone. The seat and door panels
have elegantly aggressive inserts. And the plush black carpeting
with red piping makes this feel upper-class. There are some
well-integrated upgrades like power windows and cold-blowing air
conditioning. You have a terrific driver's setup with a banjo-style
sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a full AutoMeter gauge
package set in a bright panel, and the large tach goes particularly
well with the Hurst floor shifter.
The forward-tilting hood is a great way to signal to others you
have something special within. This has a terrific clean black look
that makes it quite easy to spot the bright pieces, like the
brass-style radiator top and the ribbed valve covers that announce
your 351ci V8. And this motor has been built right with a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake, a serpentine belt
system, and Sanderson headers that connect to a sweet-sounding
Flowmaster dual exhaust. You're in full control of the V8's power
and soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. The
truck handles great on the road thanks to suspension upgrades. And
you also have power steering and disc brakes up front. Traction is
well in hand because those whitewall tires are really modern BF
Goodrich radials.
This custom build perfectly combines classic looks, modern
conveniences, and stout power. So you know you can't miss this
total package. Call today!!!
