Vehicle Description
This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette does it all the right way. More than
just an affordable price, you get the late C3 clean design with a
head-turning boldness on the outside, a loaded A/C interior,
overdrive transmission, and serious power from a well-built small
block.
Most late-C3 Corvettes have a subtle color theme that was popular
in this era, but this one has gone in a very different direction.
This coupe literally sparkles thanks to a modern full silver wrap.
You can tell someone made a nice investment here by the depth of
the gloss and shine. But what really makes the whole presentation
"pop" are all the sophisticated touches of a deep red. You see it
on the stripes outlining the cowl hood, surrounding the fender
vent, and even in the center cap of the Rally wheel package. Plus,
this slick body gets extra touches of modern with LED lights
mounted on the front and the emblems replaced with the logo of the
C7 Stingray.
You're going to want to take the T-tops out all of the time. Not
only is the condition of the interior nice, but the deep red
presentation coordinates with the exterior accents. More than just
memorable, you'll like the interior because it's loaded with
features. This includes power windows, cruise control, cup holders,
tinted windows, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB, and factory air
conditioning. Your seat power adjusts to the ideal driving
position, and the tilt/telescopic steering column puts the
leather-wrapped steering wheel where you want it. Even the full
gauge package is upgraded to crisp white-faced units set in silver
housings to coordinate with the exterior. So yes, this is quite a
thoughtful build.
One look under the hood, and you can instantly see there was a nice
investment in polish and performance. In fact, you'll even notice
that the block was color-matched in the car's deep red just for an
extra touch of award-worthy style. This is a correct-style 350
cubic-inch L81 V8. But this was fully rebuilt to be a 355ci motor
fully built with forged internals. It inhales deeply with a Brawler
four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake, and this exhales
with added power and authority from long tube headers feeding the
dual exhaust. This was also upgraded to a 700R4 four-speed
automatic transmission, which is stout enough to handle the power
and also offers easy overdrive cruising. The fully-independent
sports suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brake
package make for an all-around nice sports car experience.
This is a strong-running and bold-looking custom Corvette. So if
you love power and distinction, don't let this well-priced C3 slip
away. Call today!!!
