Vehicle Description
This 1989 Ford F-250 Custom loves to be an extra capable 4x4 that
also loves to put the power in your hands. So look over everything
from the long bed utility to the A/C interior, and you'll soon
realize that this one offers it all... and it's offered for quite a
nice price.
This Ford makes quite an impression. After all, this generation
F-series has some of the most study/blocky lines ever, and it only
gets more tough-looking on a lifted 4x4. And the overall appeal of
this one is as clear as black and white...literally. The two-tone
black and white paint is believed to be the original factory
application. The value price leaves room in your budget if you want
a modern and glossy respray, but we think this one is presented
quite correctly already. After all, it's a beefy 4x4, and so you
want a finish that has some gloss but also never makes you nervous
to have some fun. There's even a red pinstripe along the upper
portion of the black to provide a hint of a sophisticated dividing
line. The long bed gives you plenty of space for cargo, and
whenever that's not enough, you also have a proper trailer hitch on
the back. This also has trailering mirrors, added side steps, and
8-lug heavy-duty alloys.
The interior has a nice originality that looks like it wants to get
down to work. The dual-spoke steering wheel, AM/FM radio, and
contoured bench seat have the right stock feel. There are side vent
windows and sliding rear glass for you to get the old-school truck
breezes flowing through the cab. And whenever that's not enough,
the cold-blowing air conditioning is there to keep you comfy.
Under the hood is a blue oval legend. This was upgraded later in
life to a larger 351 cubic-inch V8, and it's built for older style
ease and maintenance with a carbureted setup. Speaking of simple
fun, this has a ZF five-speed manual transmission. It's mated to a
4.10 rear end to let you get off the line quickly when you really
want to. Of course, its real purpose is to give you good low-end
gearing for real truck work. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case,
lifted stance, and Ironman All Country are also there to get the
job done. And power steering, power brakes, and front discs are
great anytime driving features.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the extra-duty F-250
with a lot of extra appeal. Don't miss out, call today!
