Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 has a performance-built fuel-injected V8, a
six-speed automatic transmission, a custom/comfy leather interior,
and an overall sleek style that loves to announce it's something
special. So as you look over all the details, you'll discover a
pickup with big investments in creating an all-around stunner.
We have receipts that show $32k invested in this full package. It
was a multi-year restoration and only about 150 miles have been put
on the truck since it has been completed. What does that all tell
you? It signals that this was a labor of love where they sweated
the details, and the full package is going to feel quite fresh. The
Electric Blue paint instantly sets this one apart. It's a quality
application that loves to radiate the sunshine across the C10's
crisp and iconic lines. And this same luster loves to show off the
more aggressive upgrades, like the cowl hood. A smooth billet
grille, bright chrome bumpers, and expertly deleted trim show they
really made sleekness a priority in this special build. Even the
fuel tank filler went from sticking out of the side of the cab to
now hidden under the taillights. And the 18-inch American Racing
polished alloys on the lowered suspension hint that this one is
speedy, too.
A fresh build also means a fresh interior. The exterior blue
returns on the metal parts of the doors and dash, but the real star
here is the sharp-looking black style on the plush carpeting, good
door panels, and smooth dash pad. And the black seats are
absolutely awesome. They are borrowed from a late-model GM truck
that include individual buckets and your choice of a middle jump
seat or fold-down center console. It's all done in supple Katzkin
leather. There are nice conveniences like an AM/FM/CD stereo
w/Bluetooth, and there are provisions for Vintage Air air
conditioning (it likely just needs a recharge to blow ideally
cold.) But the best treats are just for you. The driver's seat
power adjusts to the ideal position, and the wood-rimmed steering
wheel is on a tilt column. You've got a full upgraded gauge package
that glows blue to match the color theme, and the floor shifter has
a manual shifting option like the brand-new modern pickups.
While there are plenty of interesting custom components on the
interior and exterior that will draw a crowd, we're willing to bet
the engine bay is what really brings them all to you. It's a late
model 6.0-liter Vortec V8. It has the kind of clean installation
and color-matched cover that makes this look like it belonged here
since day one. Even the supporting components look fresh, like the
polished brake booster and large aluminum radiator. While upgrading
to a fuel-injected motor is already awesome for greater power and
consistency, this one goes further. It was enhanced with a Cam
Motion roller camshaft, roller rockers, and Hedman headers feeding
the H-pipe dual exhaust. So it has extra power and a great V8 tune.
Plus, a 6L90E six-speed automatic transmission means terrific radio
and overdrive. So this C10 feels like it's always in the ideal gear
whether you're in the passing lane or cruising down the highway.
The long-haul likeability of this classic is further enhanced by
power steering, power brakes w/front discs, a limited-slip rear
end, and modern sport tires.
