Facebook Marketplace only allows 20 photos. For many more photos
please visit www.carbuffs.com. Purchased by the current owner in
2016, the car had been sitting for some time so he took the car to
his mechanic and had it gone through. The upper end of the 460
motor was rebuilt including the heads (hardened valve seats were
installed) and a rebuilt carburetor. The C6 transmission was
rebuilt. The frontend was rebuilt with new control arm bushings,
ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. The brake system was gone through
including master cylinder, calipers, rubber hoses, wheel cylinders,
etc. With all of that done he decided to install a Ridetech RidePRO
adjustable height suspension kit. The original vacuum operating
headlight doors were converted to electric to make them operate
properly and consistently. A very nice sound system was installed.
The climate control system will require some work as it is
currently inoperable. The A/C compressor turns on when adjusting
the temperature on the automatic climate control but the fan does
not blow. Right rear window does not operate. New wheels and tires
were installed. The body is straight with a mix of original paint
and old touchup showing. Vinyl top does have some rust under it as
seen in the photos. Original interior is exceptionally clean and
helps to prove the 69k original miles claim. Runs and drives good.
Clean California title. Currently registered. A fun car in a rarely
seen body style. You probably won't park next to another one at the
next car show! Please call for viewing hours and vehicle
availability as not all consignment vehicles are on site.
