For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

This 1965 Ford Mustang has an upgraded two-tone inside and out, a healthy V8, and an upgraded five-speed. So it makes for a fun and distinctive classic that's also offered for a value price.

A first-year Mustang is a great classic with iconic lines and nice chrome bumpers, but this one wants to be distinctive for much more. You have a neon-like green that is far more vivid than anything offered in '65. It's hard to call it a complete wild side, because the green is part of a thoughtful and comprehensive two-tone where the black is on the roof, rockers, and even the added hood scoop. This one also likes to have a sporty sense of style, and so that cool scoop is joined by upgrades like the hood pins, quad exhaust tips, and American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. The whole package is done to be a driver's car. That means it's not afraid to hit the road, and as you look at the details, you'll see some updates for better fun.

The interior continues the two-tone theme. The green returns on the metal parts of the doors and dash. And there's a nice dark look on the carpeting, dash pad, door panels, and upholstery. It's a clean and comfy setup, but as mentioned before, this one wants the driver to be the priority. That feeling comes from features like the front bucket seats and wood-rimmed sports steering wheel. And have you counted the gears on the shifter yet?

Under the hood is a proper Ford V8. It looks good with the black Ford racing valve covers, a matching air grabber, steel braided cooling lines, and an overall tidy setup. This 289 cubic-inch V8 was built for added pep with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and Accel Super Stock coil. The motor fires up nicely, and the upgrade to a five-speed manual transmission means you get to take even better control than they got in '65. This coupe is a solid driver, and it really likes to let you feel the road. But the upgraded wheels also mean fitting upgraded modern tires with better grip.

A cool-looking coupe built to be enjoyed to the fullest. This one offers a lot for a value price. Call today!!!
