This 1972 Chevy K20 is an awesome truck!!! It is a K10 body with 1
Ton Axles installed with a lift. A really nice restoration and it
drives really nice for a lifted vehicle and it was a clean truck
out of Oregon for all of its life. This was a labor of love for the
last owner who had it restored. Thousands and Thousands of dollars
went into this restoration and we received a-lot of receipts. As
stated previously, this truck started its life as a K10 but was
made into a K30 by adding 1 Ton Axles. Everything was replaced or
rebuilt at some point on this build. The body on this truck is
really clean and straight and it has a beautiful Grabber Orange
paint job that was professionally applied. When it was restored
they added the GMC Grille and tailgate. They installed all new
rubbers and weatherstripping when it was painted. All of the chrome
and stainless is really nice and if you look at the undercarriage
pictures on our website you will see a clean underside that is
really nice. We found no patchwork on this truck. The interior is
also really nice and restored as well. It has new carpet, new dash
pad, custom seat, new headliner, new vintage AC and heat that
works, and a nice Custom Autosound stereo system. All of the
lights, turn signals, brake lights, gauges are working. Heat and AC
work great! Horn is in-op and wipers are not hooked up as the last
owner was going to use for a sunny day fun truck!
Mechanically this truck is excellent and runs great and drives
nicer than you think a lifted truck would. The engine is a 290 HP
GM Crate Motor (350 V8) and we have the receipt. They added an
Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI Ignition, Headers,
and dual Flowmaster exhaust that sounds great! Some other additions
include an aluminum water pump with aluminum pulleys and new 4 core
radiator with electric fan. The transmission is the np435 4 speed
manual that shifts ncie and it has the np205 transfer case. Rear
Axle is the 14 Bolt with a Detroit Locker and 4.56 Gears. The front
axle is a Dana 60 with 4.56 Gears and disc brakes. Both axles have
been completely gone through. This truck has an 8 Inch lift that
was done right with springs and no blocks. It has new shocks, new
stainless steel brake lines, relocated gas tank (from Blazer) to
under the bed, newer steering box, new tie rods and drag link, all
new body bushings and mounts (2 Inch Body Lift), new painless
wiring harness, new front and rear driveshafts, and new 38 Inch
Super Swamper Radials on Weld Wheels. This is quite a build and
quite a truck!!
