carburetor with a 2-speed Fordomatic automatic transmission. These
cars were marketed as a "personal luxury car" when the Thunderbird
was first introduced. This example is nicely optioned with power
seat, power windows, power brakes, aftermarket A/C, both tops, and
power steering. The manual soft convertible top is in great shape
and 5 years old, it is also easy for one person to operate. This
white top stows neatly behind the seat when not in the up
position.
The dash features original instrumentation with factory tach and
clock. Two-tone vinyl seats to match the exterior, bias ply white
wall tires and accessory wire wheel hub caps. From the long hood
and short deck lid to the hood scoop and rear exhaust exiting
through the bumper, Ford absolutely nailed the design on these cars
