Original 500 cid engine mated with Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission, 56,000 original miles showing on odometer. Driven only 4,000 miles over the past 11 years. Mechanically, this vehicle drives as good as you would imagine for a car that only has this low of miles on it, the engine and transmission is smooth and powerful, and performs flawlessly. Transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The suspension rides very tight and handles corners extremely well, evident that this car has been pampered its entire life.
Standard equipment for the 1975 Cadillac Eldorados included: AM/FM Signal Seeking Stereo radio with automatic power antenna, power windows and door locks, tinted glass, 6-way power seat, era-correct wider white-wall steel-belted radials.
No known mechanical issues, just had new rear brakes pads and cylinders as well as new muffler and resonator replaced, front brakes and rotors are newer, tires are like new all of the way around, spare is brand-never used. Ideally, this car will be put away and stored as a long term investment, but can also be used as a daily driver without any reservations, can be driven across coast to coast, and or north to south.
It’s reported that less than 9,000 1975 Eldorado convertibles were built, potentially making them more collectible than the 'Last Cadillac production convertible' for the 1976 model year with 14,000 being built.
