is being offered on consignment by us for a local client. This
beautiful classic Benz is powered by a 2.8-liter M130 inline-six
paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in
Ivory with a color-matched hardtop and a brand new brown soft top
over a saddle interior. The car was reportedly originally owned and
registered in Encino, California, and was repainted in its current
cream prior to the sellers purchase in 2010. Equipment includes a
Becker Mexico AM/FM/cassette radio, air conditioning, power
steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and 14 steel wheels with
color-matched M-B center caps wrapped in brand new period correct
white wall tires. This W113 is now offered with manufacturers
literature, a tool kit, and a clean Arizona Title. The car was
originally finished in Metallic Beige (462H) from the factory and
was repainted ivory during previous ownership. Exterior features
include chrome bumpers with overriders, driver and passenger-side
rearview mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The color-matched
removable hardtop is pictured above and the brown soft top can be
viewed in the gallery. A full-sized spare protected by a vinyl
cover is mounted in the trunk. Factory equipment includes power
steering and four-wheel disc brakes, the latter of which the seller
reports were rebuilt since 2010. The seats are upholstered in
Saddle tan and are joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and
carpeting. Interior features include a floor-mounted shifter, a
dash-mounted analog clock, air conditioning.The two-spoked steering
wheel frames factory chrome-ringed VDO instrumentation including a
140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges
indicating coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The
five-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 500 of which
were added during current ownership. The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six
features multi-port fuel injection and was factory rated at 168
horsepower when new. Shifting is through a four-speed automatic
transmission. The seller reports recent transmission and exhaust
work during current ownership including transmission and torque
converter rebuild in August 2020.
