Vehicle Description
This 1985 Chevrolet K10 Blazer Silverado 4x4 is a stunning
no-expense-spared build with few test miles since its frame-off
rotisserie restoration was completed in January 2021. This build
began with the frame being sand-blasted and is complete with photo
documentation of the entire build. This K5 Silverado rolled off the
showroom floor in sunny Southern California and had zero rust
repair in the complete restoration. Every nut, bolt, wire, gasket,
seal, trim, glass, rubber, molding, grommet and wiring harness is
new or has been replaced, restored, refurbished or rebuilt. This
high-quality professional build is powered by a fuel-injected LS
engine matched to a fresh rebuilt 4L60E matching automatic
transmission and NP208 transfer case. Custom headers are attached
to the dual stainless-steel exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers and
dual high-flow cats, and is equipped with skid plates, new 3.73
gears with front and rear Eaton locker, all new leaf springs, tie
rods, shocks, steering box, brakes, air conditioning, dual electric
fans, computer and relays with a custom-painted cover. The core
support and inner fender excess holes were welded up and shaved.
Many of the components have been properly customized and painted to
be color-key powder-coated. The arrow-straight, show-finish body
and paint were professionally completed with House of Kolor black.
All the details were covered, including the new OEM-style high-end,
top-quality interior, from the custom LED headlamps to the custom
high-end dash gauge cluster all the way back to the custom rear
backup camera and high-end custom Pioneer 6.2 high-output sound
system with retro-fitted screen. This gorgeous K5 Silverado Blazer
was built to be shown on display as well as driven and enjoyed. It
was designed, built and finished paying close attention to detail.
Even the factory jack and components were restored. The underneath
of this completely restored and reassembled build with stainless
hardware is just as beautiful as the exterior. The smoothed
firewall and completely custom modified engine compartment, which
was fabricated, was welded, shaved, filled and smoothed. This
no-expense-spared custom build is truly the result of combining
countless hours of the love of labor with an endless amount of
funds.
