Vehicle Description
Beautifully restored 1966 Dodge Coronet finished in its original
shade of Medium Turquoise Metallic. Power comes from a 1968 440ci
V8 engine upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, COMP camshaft, Holley
carburetor, modified heads and deep sump oil pan. The modified V8
produces a dyno-tested 443hp and routes it through a rebuilt 727
automatic transmission and on to a rebuilt 8-3/4-inch rear
differential with 3.55 posi-traction. The transmission also
features a shift kit and 2,500 stall converter, new balanced
driveshaft and new U-joints. An all-new suspension, tires, brakes
and battery. During restoration, the body was stripped to bare
metal, sandblasted and resprayed in the body color. The Coronet
features new floors and quarter-panels; glass and brightwork are
either new or restored. All new wiring front to back, including
engine harness and under dash. Complete new black interior
featuring factory bucket seats and console, restored dashboard and
all new gauges.
