For Sale: 1988 Chevrolet Silverado in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

It's time to win some awards and turn all the heads. This Chevrolet Silverado is a show truck that's a custom build over every inch. That means super-slick paint everywhere (including the undercarriage.) A leather-lined A/C interior with wraparound dash. The engine bay has an awesome shine, and the upgrade to a LS1 V8 means you'll be ready to hit the road. And when you do arrive, you can watch the jaws drop as you lower the air ride suspension to the ground.

The attention to detail on this truck starts with the paint. It seems to strike a balance between GM's iconic Hugger Orange and something that belongs on an exotic Lamborghini. The top half is a high-gloss creamy white that makes the truck look like it was made from porcelain. This ultra-smooth two-tone finish makes all the custom work look amazing. The front end is both elegant and aggressive with a cowl hood, crystal clear headlights, and a GMC-style grille setup that allows for the clean billet upgrade. This custom wants to remain ultra-smooth, and so you have details like the color-matched front bumpers, deleted trim, shaved door handles, and a the rear roll pan has been fully integrated with zero gaps. The truck bed takes a page from old-school elegance by being finished in oak. It's an elegant solution that allows the floor to be raised to make room for the needed suspension components as well as the air ride system. And yes, those awesome 22-inch chrome wheels expertly tuck into the body when you feel like lowering the adjustable suspension all the way to the ground.

When you use the key fob to pop the remote door openers, it reveals an interior that's just as custom and thoughtful as the exterior. It starts with a pair of well-contoured sport bucket seats done in soft cream leather with orange suede inserts. There's believed to be less than 60 miles on this build since it was complete, and so this has always been more about showing this truck than wearing in the interior. That's why there is a full fresh presentation. Plus, we know you've noticed the dash. It's a full custom piece that wraps around the doors for an award-worthy look. And because the interior wants to be as ultra-smooth as the exterior, the center console forms into the dash. Its best trick is that it also hides all your favorite features. An opening panel reveals the controls for the air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Lokar shifter for the four-speed auto w/overdrive. And the full Kicker audio system is so well integrated, that the amps are part of the center display. Your seat power adjusts, the bright steering wheel is on a tilt column, and the dash has a full set of great-looking bright gauges.

The cowl hood gives this a sporty look, and so it's awesome to see that there is an upgrade to a fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 V8. But the upgrade in power may not be what first strikes you. Chevrolet never came close to building a motor with this much detail, and so you know there was a painstaking amount of time and investment taken to make sure everything you see is only in metallic orange and chrome. The motor fires up readily, and the headers let it exhale with added authority into the side exhaust. But don't just read about all of this; take a look at the undercarriage photos. There you'll see what a full frame-off build gets you, because even the full undercarriage is rendered in the amazing orange. The suspension has also been upgraded with tubular front A-arms, a four-link rear, and four-wheel power disc brakes. So bring a mirror to put under this one wherever you go!

This is the full build where every inch was paid attention to, and so we don't have room to list it all. But give us a call, and we'll be happy to go over every detail. It's truly the kind of vehicle that you can pick up tomorrow and win your first award this weekend. But you can only do that if you call today!
