GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1989 Rolls Royce Silver Spur Long Wheel Base for your consideration. The Silver Spur is powered by a 6.75L V8 motor mated to an automatic transmission. Rolls Royce has always prided itself on building the best, extremely luxurious, and most comfortable vehicles. This example is no exception. The drivetrain is as smooth as butter and pulls this large land yacht down the road very well.

The exterior is finished in Black and features bronze pinstriping along the side of the vehicle. It rides on 15-inch polished alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Radial XH4 tires. The finish on the Silver Spirit was as superior as one might expect, with burl walnut wood trim, Connolly leather hide interior, and Wilton carpets. Steering was power rack-and-pinion, and Rolls-Royce used Citroen's hydraulic self-leveling suspension at the rear, power disc brakes all-around, and a three-speed automatic transmission, which was later replaced by a four-speed automatic in 1991. Almost everything was standard, including air conditioning, power windows, seats, and door locks.

The Silver Spirit is a full-size luxury car produced by Rolls-Royce Motors, in Crewe, England, from 1980 to 1999. It was the first model in the SZ series. The Silver Spur is a long-wheelbase version of the Silver Spirit, produced at the same time. It was the first car to feature the retractable Spirit of Ecstasy. Suspension design saw the most change, with "Automatic Ride Control" introduced, a fully automatic system that adjusted dampers at all four wheels in real-time. Exterior and interior changes were minimal, with a considerably smaller steering wheel and two additional ventilation outlets added to the fascia mildly modernizing the look upfront.
