1940 Mercury Convertible Street Rod finished in Blue paint with
gray convertible top. This street rod started life as a 09A model
before undergoing customization and servicework. This car has been
chopped also. Powered by the 350 V8 that is paired with a TH350
automatic transmission. Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock intake, electric
choke, HEI ignition, headers, electric fan, serpentine belt system
also equipped under the hood. Nicely equipped with power steering,
power brakes, cruise control, power windows, power driver's seat,
and A/C. A/C compressor turned on and off, may need to be
recharged. This car has an all steel body including the hood,
fenders, and trunk lid. Frenched in headlights with painted grille
to match. Paint is in nice shape and shows well throughout, touched
up sparingly where needed. Gray stripe and Mercury artwork painted
on as well. This car also comes with a front end cover that comes
with the car. Riding on Boyd Coddington wheels. Silver leather
bucket seat interior with center console and automatic on the
floor. Custom interior and furnishing with Ididit tilt column,
Kenwood aftermarket stereo, and Dakota Digital dash/readout
installed really make this street rod stand out. There are charging
posts behind the rear roll-pan. This car has shaved door handles
and has an electric door popper to get in. Ford 9" rear end and has
approximately 7,300 miles on it since built! Horn and wipers
working correctly. Gray cloth convertible top with plastic rear
window, top is in nice shape! Great sounding Mercury!
