Vehicle Description
1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. Non-matching period correct
327-350hp original car with factory side exhaust. Family owned
since 2012. Dad purchased her from Mershon's World of Cars Inc., in
Springfield OH. In 2017 I traded a few cars with my father to
acquire this one. Car was then shipped out to my home in Beverly
Hills, CA for a few fun years cruising PCH and the Canyons. I have
since moved back to Indiana and have not registered the car since
leaving CA. Car is currently located in Centerville, In. Neither me
or my father really drove the 66 very often. Every thing works as
it should. Passenger door vent is not cranking proper. All gauges
including clock with exception of fuel gage work. Runs and drives
great. Sounds amazing.. like a factory 327 with side exhaust should
sound. Drivers side fender by headlight has cracked paint where
fender creases. Slight cracked paint near passenger side front
fender near headlight. Issue with all 66's until was corrected with
proper factory stabilization adjustments made by Chevy in the 67
models. See pics. Clutch is nice and tight, car pulls hard. Not
frame rust. 90% of chrome looks great, there a few areas on the
bottom side of the bumpers where there is minor to light moderate
pitting. Paint looks looks good, shines up nice. Top is in good
condition, inside liner has few tears on passenger back side. Dash
has no cracks. Leather seats in good condition, no rip or tears
very light fading with very little wear for a car from 1966. No
A/C. Stereo / tape player works. Certificate of value from 2012
states realistic condition as excellent for the following: Engine,
Trans, Body, Paint, Interior, Wheels and tires, Overall condition
and Appearance. Car has never seen rain and has been cared for and
stored indoors since coming to the family in 2012. Please Note The
