This 1972 Buick Skylark has a terrific vintage style with the right
color combo, cool hardtop profile, spacious interior, and proper V8
power. So at a price like this, you're looking at quite a tempting
V8 cruiser.
The best Buicks of the '70s were both premium and powerful, and
this one delivers it all on the first impression. It has a muscle
car-like hardtop profile similar to its Chevelle sibling. But
there's an extra hint of sophistication with the well-fitting beige
vinyl roof. It has the right earth-tone look to complement the
Nutmeg brown paint. And this finish has a terrific look with a
great gloss and a hint of metallic. So the sunlight loves to show
off the crisp and clean body. And when it comes to shine, this also
has a terrific look on the chrome bumpers. The front has a sharply
pointed look and the rear seems to form right to the body. Add in
the Rallye wheels and dual exhaust tips, and this is a powerful and
pretty total impression.
The saddle tan interior looks quite authentic and very striking.
The upholstery, headliner, door panels, carpeting, and dash are all
either a fresh restoration or a nearly impossible time capsule. And
the reason why it's so hard to tell is that this coupe is
exceptionally correct, right down to the working courtesy lights
and Sonomatic AM radio. There's plenty of space for family and
friends to enjoy, but this Buick makes sure the driver is king.
That's why you have a fold-down armrest, three-spoke sports
steering wheel, and a clear set of gauges, including a larger
speedo and tach.
Under the hood is a correct-style 350 cubic-inch V8. This is a
great piece to have because Buick's version was known for being a
torque king. It has a nice look with the Dante red block, matching
intake, and bright valve covers. Plus, there's a Demon four-barrel
carburetor for a touch of added pep. It fires up readily with an
eagerness that tells you it wants to hit the road. And because this
is a true Buick, there's an easy driving nature thanks to
comfortable features like power steering, power brakes, and a
three-speed automatic transmission.
The sale comes complete with owner's manual and maintenance
records. If you like your classic coupe to be both distinctive and
affordable, don't let this Skylark slip away. Call today!!!
