This 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado 4x4 has the beefy stance of an
upgraded pickup which makes these square body trucks look so good.
More than just intimidation, there is true value in a truck with a
strong V8, long bed versatility, a loaded interior, and an
overdrive transmission. So take some time to dig into the details
on a great classic with everyday appeal.
The two-tone dark blue and silver paint offers a nice gloss from a
modern clearcoat application. They both have a nice metallic
element, and so there's plenty of radiance when the sunshine hits
the straight body panels. And it's a detail-oriented style with the
premium Silverado side trim used as a dividing line of the two
colors. The wraparound silver pinstripe adds plenty of sporty
appeal, and the same goes for the power dome of the cowl hood. More
than being a stylish truck, this truck knows how to earn its keep.
There's a tall 4x4 stance, wide side mirrors, and a proper trailer
hitch. Plus, the long bed protected by liner paint really has you
thinking about all the stuff you can haul home.
The interior reminds you this is a loaded Silverado. It has nice
features like power windows, power locks, sliding rear glass, and
provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow
again.) The radio has even been upgraded to a modern AM/FM unit
with USB and Bluetooth. While it's unknown if the odometer reflects
the truck's full actual mileage, and potentially rolled over, you
may find room for improvement in some areas - after all, it's easy
to get an aftermarket bucket seat upgrade. But overall, it's
already impressive for the level of features. The tilt steering
column gives you a commanding view of the wraparound gauges, and
there are even auxiliary readouts mounted below the dash.
Under the hood is Chevy's mighty 350 cubic-inch V8. It has been
upgraded for added power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock intake, and a nice set of headers. The two-speed 4x4
transfer case works with the lifted stance and Wild Country tires
to let you enjoy time off-road. Even when you just stay on the
pavement, this Silverado has good manners. Power steering, power
brakes, and front discs are great anytime features. And the
four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is a good
long-haul feature.
This is the sharp-looking Silverado that has the versatility of a
long bed 4x4 with strong V8 power. It makes for a great classic
that you can choose to show off on the weekends or even make part
of your everyday life. Call now!
