FMC recently acquired this incredible Oldsmobile Cutlass S which has been upgraded to the 4-4-2 look and feel. As most Olds enthusiasts would know, there are minimal differences between the Cutlass S and the 4-4-2 to start with and most of the differences have been upgraded. This car came factory equipped with the Strato-Bucket seats, center console, sport steering wheel and air conditioning. The 4-4-2 changeover took place 7 years ago starting with a full and impeccable restoration. One look at the mirror-like shine on this jet black Olds with correct white stripes is sure to impress. You would expect this level of paint and finish to be appropriate for a car of much greater value. The same is true for the chrome and trim on this car. Simply impeccable!
The engine is not the original.... Its far better. The engine is an Oldsmobile 455ci 365hp engine from a 1969 Olds. A 1969 factory correct 396021F Oldsmobile engine with more power than the original. The transmission is the correct THD400 and the rear is a 10 Bolt POSI with 3:73 gears and sway bars. She starts easily and drives incredibly well. The engine is responsive with an impressive amount of muscle and no issues to speak of. No fluid leaks or unwanted noises of any kind. Brakes are new! Tires are new BF Goodrich 225/70R15 up front & 275/60R15 in the rear. The wheels are the correct 4-4-2 Magnums. The undercarriage is rust free and super clean!
The interior is beautiful in every respect. White seats are clean with no rips or tares anywhere. This Olds includes factory air conditioning and an AM-FM aftermarket radio. The dash is spotless and all gauges including the under-dash gauge package work perfectly. Windows roll up & down easily.
This a incredible value for the money. It has been driven sparingly since its restoration and can go anywhere, Fast! Do yourself a favor if at all possible; come see this car and schedule a test drive. There are NO disappointments here!
