AKA Viper truck. It has the same motor as a Viper, performance
upgrades and Viper inspired features. Created by Chrysler's
performance vehicle operations. Built in limited numbers from
2004-2006. 32,703 documented miles, it is in exceptional condition.
We just acquired it along with 5 other Mopars from a collector. The
SRT-10 just about doubled the sticker price!
EXTERIOR: These trucks were dressed up with a functional scooped
hood, Viper & SRT-10 badges, ground effects, special designed front
and rear fascias, fog lamps, 22 inch polished wheels and a hard
tonneau cover with functional spoiler. This one still looks
practically new. The body is mint with no rust or damage. The jambs
are spotless, weatherstrips are mint. The paint is as bright and
glossy as ever. I can't find any signs of being repainted. You
would have to look real close to find even a minor flaw. It still
has original Scorpion Pirelli tires. They are due to be replaced
but looking at them tells me it wasn't an abused truck.
INTERIOR: It is decked out inside with leather/suede upholstery on
heavily bolstered racing inspired seats with a fold up center
console that will seat a 3rd passenger. On the floor is a console
with a Hurst 4-speed sticking out of it. It has power adjustable
silver pedals. The gauges are specially calibrated and say SRT-10,
there is an oil pressure gauge on the pillar. It has Viper inspired
red start button. The stereo was upgraded with a modern Kenwood, it
has factory subwoofer. It has not been smoked in, the lighter
hasn't been used. The manuals are in the glovebox. It looks
practically new inside.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is the same engine used in the Viper- 8.3
liter V-10 making 500 hp and 525 lbs of torque. The motor
compartment is very clean. It was upgraded with a performance
K&N intake system, the original is included.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The hard tonneau keeps things dry inside. The
lid is lockable and opens easily with the assistance of gas struts.
It is completely lined with a Bedrug and it's brand new
looking.
UNDERSIDE: PVO engineers made many custom upgrades to better handle
the Viper power. The rack & pinion steering was modified,
suspension was tuned and lowered. Billstein gas shocks were used,
it has a 5th one in back to prevent wheel hop. The frame is
hydroformed. Looking up at the motor it is all aluminum. It has a
T-56 Tremec 6-speed. A big drive shaft connects to a Dana 60 h.d.
rear end with 4.10 posi and aluminum finned cover. It has disc with
red calipers at all 4 wheels, it uses NASCAR style brake cooling
ducts. The factory dual exhaust system looks good. The bottom of
this truck is extra clean. It looks like it's been a fair weather
driver. It still has assembly line markings, the spare has never
been used.
If you crave that sports car feel but aren't as capable of climbing
in and out of a capsule on wheels, this is a perfect solution. This
was an instant collectable that will continue to appreciate as less
and less excellent examples are available. After my full inspection
I am convinced the owner babies this truck, it could pass for 3,200
miles!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
